Tut's Treasure Tower – What Is This Slot?

Released on 2 March 2026, Tut's Treasure Tower is Fat Panda's 3×3, 5-betway Egyptian slot. Fat Panda are a relatively new development house that work closely with Pragmatic Play to distribute their games, while carrying out all of the design work in-house. The Fat Panda house style is all about one central mechanic carrying the entire weight of the game, with no side mechanics, and no scatter to trigger free spins. In this case a simple 3×3 grid with a single Wild symbol is used to facilitate wins, with all other action being channelled into the Hold & Win Respin feature.

The base game uses a 3×3 grid with 5 payways that pay from left to right. The Wild symbol replaces all pay symbols. The Money Symbols fall with a fixed multiplier ranging from 0.5× up to 5,000× the bet. The Respin feature is triggered by the fall of enough Money Symbols, which then expands the grid by adding rows successively – allowing the player to move from a simple 3×3 grid to a larger grid with up to 21 fixed and locked positions in total. The maximum win of 5,000× the bet is awarded when all 21 positions are filled and the Grand Jackpot is triggered.

How to Play Tut's Treasure Tower

  1. Set your bet between €0.20 and €240 per spin.
  2. Spin the 3×3 grid — 5 paylines are available from left to right with 3 of a kind. The Wild icon replaces all other symbols.
  3. Money Symbols land anywhere on the reels and have a cash value ranging from 0.5×–5,000× the bet. In the base game, 4 or more Money Symbols trigger the Respin feature. 1–3 Money Symbols can also trigger it randomly.
  4. Once Respin is triggered, only Money Symbols and blank symbols spin. The counter displays 3 Respins. Any new Money Symbol resets the counter to 3 and holds in place.
  5. Each time you land 5, 9, 12, or 16 Money Symbols, one new row is added to the grid — giving you more space to collect.
  6. The round ends when the counter drops to 0 or all 21 cells are filled. All collected values are summed and paid. Fill all 21 cells for the Grand Jackpot: 5,000×.

Bonus Features

🔒

Hold & Win Respin

The core feature. 4+ Money Symbols trigger it (1–3 can also trigger it randomly). Only Money and blank symbols spin during respins. Every new Money Symbol resets the counter to 3 and locks permanently in place until the feature ends.

📐

Expanding Grid

The 3×3 grid grows by one extra row at 5, 9, 12, and 16 collected symbols — giving more surface area for Money Symbols to land. Fill all 21 positions to claim the Grand Jackpot.

💎

Fixed Jackpots

Money Symbols land with fixed preset values. Five tiers are designated as jackpots: Mini 20×, Minor 50×, Major 200×, Mega 1,000×, and Grand 5,000×. All collected values are summed and paid at feature end.

🃏

Wild Symbol

The Wild (Pharaoh) substitutes for all paying symbols in the base game, pays 25× for 3 of a kind, and helps bridge near-miss combinations. Only active in the base game — not during Respins.

Respin Feature & Jackpots

The Respin feature is the whole bonus system in Tut's Treasure Tower. There are no free spins, no scatter bonus and no special bonus round. Everything is done through the Respins feature. When 4+ Money Symbols appear on the reels or are randomly triggered between 1–3 times, the game grid is replaced and the Hold & Win sequence begins.

The grid expansion is perhaps the key feature of the game: whenever the player collects enough symbols at one level, a new row is added to the grid to form a larger grid that offers more chances to fit new symbols that fall in. This continues up to the point where there are no more respins left or all the cells are filled.

💡 Pro Tip: Money Symbol values are predefined — the Grand Jackpot symbol (5,000×) is a single rare symbol. Landing it anywhere during Respins adds 5,000× to your total. Filling all 21 positions is the only guaranteed path to the 5,000× outcome, but individual high-value jackpot symbols can land at any point during the feature.

Standard Money Symbol cash values are in the range of 0.5× to 5,000× the total bet. All pay out cash values and Jackpot Symbol amounts are paid out as a combined single payout at the end of the feature.

RTP & Variance Explained

RTP: 96.51% (best)

Volatility
High (4/5)

Tut's Treasure Tower has RTP ranges — the best variant comes in at 96.51% with the other two variants at 95.51% and 94.51%. As always, be sure to check which version is being used at the online casino of your choosing prior to making a deposit. Yes, the volatility is actually high, with few pay outs in between the relatively few times the base game 3×3 pays out the low prize line wins. This is really where all of the value of the game lies. The feature doesn't always trigger, though when it does, it can be quite lucrative. The game's max win payout of 5,000× is rather low for a high volatility slot, especially when you consider just how unsatisfying the wins in the base game can be.

ℹ️ Note: Make sure to check the RTP variant listed in the game info panel prior to playing with real money at the casino.
